PRE-TRIAD project developed a course for judges, prosecutors court clerks, lawyers, and on a second stage for probation officers and Law students so that you can develop skills that allow you to grow your expertise in:

1. The varied impacts of preventive detention (National, such as financial cost related to each European Union Member State; Organisational such as lack of human/financial resources; overcrowding; Individual, such as psychological, social and financial burden);
2. The available alternative measures and their application;
3. How to efficiently apply the European Supervision Order (Framework Decision 2009/829/JHA).

Shortly, we provide a short course entitled “Pre-trial detention, its alternatives and the European Supervision Order” with only 3 Modules and multiple resources.

The course is in English, with a total estimated duration of 2 hours, free of charge.

Moreover, when the participant completes the course, an official certificate of participation is provided. 

Participation is online and asynchronous on the Corrections Learning Academy platform. The trainee can progress at your own pace from any connected device.
